Okay. So you know you want a body kit.Now what? If you read my other article on the types of body kits, you should know what type you want. So lets start with the manufacturers of Fiberglass body kits. This list is pretty big, so we'll try and focus on the companies that have kits for the Scion xA, xB, and tC.
Fiberglass:
AIT Racing: When looking for a body kit for your Scion, AIT does a pretty good job of giving you a good selection. For the Scion xA they have the FAB Body kits. For the Scion xB they have the Diablo Series, the FAB series, and the K-Spec series. For the Scion tC, they produce the Fantastic series and the K1 Series Wide Body(also in Carbon Fiber). AIT is unique in that they use a combination of FRP composite and fiberglass. FRP is great because it is flexible, lightweight, easy to paint, weatherproof, and is repairable.
Extreme Dimensions: Another great company for body kits is Extreme Dimensions. Using the highest quality standards: Strong, durable, smooth surface, and great fitment, Extreme Dimensions is one of the leading body kit manufacturers. They produce the FAB style body kit(differing in style from the AIT kit) and the K-1 Body Kit for the xA. The F-1, K-1, and the FAB body kits for the xB. For the tC they have the Drifter 2, KR-S, Rado Series Widebody, Raven, and the Touring Widebody.
Urethane or ABS
Extreme Dimensions also produces a line of body kits in Urethane, but not as many. Fortunately for Scion tC owners they have the Touring wide body kit. They promise that their urethane line is flexible and super tough, so you might consider it should you live in a rough driving area.
Carbon Fiber
Unfortunately, I haven't come across any companies offering full body kits for any of the Scion line. Most carbon fiber options are for things like fenders, hoods, side skirts, spoilers and on the odd occasion roofs. VIS is one of the best options for Carbon fiber accessories. They make both Hoods and Hatches for the xA and xB, as well as hoods and trunks for the Scion tC.
